    Default Introducing Mr Hanky.

I donít name Cars - however after seeking forgiveness rather than permission to purchase - my lovely partner has cursed it with an unforgettable name.

    Itís a 74, DS23, 5 Speed, Carbureted Pallas.

Itís got a lot of surface rust in the usual places but nothing serious.

We are located south of Cygnet in Southern Tas. Couldnít be too many further south than this one.

Hmm, well done. It looks good from here.

I am a little confused as to your location however. Your ID panel says Newcastle.? It is lovely around Cygnet. Particularly at the Pagan Cider factory.. A friend of mine has a holiday house across the river at Surges Bay.

Colour is Brun Scarabee then!, Looks pretty good from this side. Is the rear bumper bar missing or it's just the picture? More pistures would be welcome.
I loved this colour so much in the 70s, was working in a garage in the 13th Arrondissement of Paris, that I got the panel beaters to re-spray my Motobecane motorbike that exact colour! would you believe.

The Dťesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Dťesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

I had the same thought. Colour of the car fits that etymology

dd your car ever belong to someone in Sydney called James in the 90's? If so I am sure he would be both impressed and depressed to know where it got to.
