    Default 2019 WRC season

    Hi,
Was checking the WRC website to see when the season starts. Much to my surprise it has already started, with the Monte Carlo Rally being completed last weekend.

First the good news. It was won by Sebastien Ogier driving a Citroen C3. So he has re-signed with the Citroen Racing Team now. Hopefully some more wins this year.

Now the bad (or sad) news. Sebastion Loeb also took part and finished 4th in a Hyundai. He is contracted to Hyundai for 6 races in WRC for 2019.

Rally Sweden is on this weekend.

Loeb was originally rumoured to be driving the odd rally for Citroen, but Citroen could not find money for the third car. Hyundai were running the third car, Loeb got the drive and Paddon was dropped for this year by Hyundai. The other interesting driver development was that Toyota gave Mr Meeke a lifeline and he was very fast out of the box in the Toyota and finished 5th.Tanak is the one to watch, he had a flat early on finished 3rd, he was posting consistently fast times after tyre problems.

Hi Kim thanks for this direction. Really enjoy WRC so being able to see it without a paid sub is great. I can download the Red Bull app from the Apple store on my IPhone. But not on my IPad. The app apparently needs a min IOS10.0 and my IPad is 9.5 & up to date. The phone is IOS12.

    Regards
    John
