    Default help with uploads

    hi can anyone please assist simply.
    when i go to upload files i get and error message that the file size exceeds 100MB per file image.

    a step by step instruction would be appreciated.

    It's a new feature - no large uploads.

    If it's an image, such as a jpeg, increase the compression, or, equivalent, reduce the quality. Many imaging programs can do it, available on all operating systems. I use convert (part of Imagemagick for Linux/Mac/Windows)

    PDF files are a bit harder if you don't have pdf generation software. They may need to be burst and the internal components, particularly images, compressed, before rebuilding.

    HELP WITH UPLOADS

    ok guys thanks for the information, it appears that my MAC has the necessary SW to make file sizes smaller for web uploads.
    however now i would like to know what has changed that the thumbnail displays that used to be available as a default is no longer.

    confused !
