can anyone advise as to how you remove/replace the return rubber elbow that carries the low pressure return pipes on the drivers side of the car. it goes through an aperture adjacent to the jacking point and below the brake distribution hydraulic junction block.

any written and diagrammatic information will be appreciated.

You must be the first person to have one fail.

Hopefully someone will reply before you have to work it out for yourself.

    Cheers, Ken

RHD driver's side or LHD driver's side? On the right side there is a rubber elbow, which looks something like a tobacco pipe with one large tube at one end and two smaller tubes at the other end. To get at it you have to remove the suspension cover and the rocker covers, then working from the rocker area, you remove an M5 screw, which holds a bracket supporting the return pipe and the fuel pipe where it passes through the solid frame section. Once this is loosened, you can move the tubing far enough forward to get to the hose clamp holding the elbow to the return pipe.
    JohnW and mberry like this.
