    Hi Paul,

It has been for sale in Brisbane for a while at about that price. It recently was on Lloyds online auction and reached around $35000. I havn't been over to check it out. It looks like it one that has come through the Peter McLeod restoration process.

    Cheers, Ken

Why is it that car dealers so often post minimal (or zero) pictures of the engine bay?

Hi Ken, a friend is interested.

Went to take a look and noticed tap water in the radiator and a very clean oil filler and new oil.

    Wondered if oil/coolant was emulsified.

Any suggestion on who in Bris would be good to take a look at it?

I wonder whether or not that car is Roger Brundles SM. His was the same colour and had an extremely low mileage on it. As you may know Roger regularly posted here under the Lhs2.1 user name and sadly passed away a year ago.

    Hi All,

That one isn't Rogers. His is an unrestored car. That one has far nicer paint. It also features a 5spd manual gearbox where Rogers was an automatic.

Also, Roger's car was a '73 USA model. The one that is advertised is a '72 USA model based on the instrument panel differences

    Hi Paul,

I am out of town this week so am away from my data sources. However I did note the chassis number when it was up for auction - SB00SB9851.

We are a bit slim on the ground for Citroen Mechanics in Brissie at present but perhaps the chap mentioned in this post might be able to help - although I have not met him yet. The engine certainly should have 33% ethylene glycol coolant in it as a minimum seeing the engine is all aluminium with copper and brass radiators and steel pipes.
