44 year old car as new? For that money I would request a 7 year warranty with roadside assist. From experience older cars or motorbikes hardly driven don't equate to near new. Having said that, what a car!

Well for an all original one of a kind DS23 it's interesting that the hub caps aren't right. I'd like to know who valued it at 110k

This is a South African private import - quite a few details will differ from the cars we are used to e.g. it has an original all vinyl interior which mis-matches the carpet colour. It has appeared for sale via ebay a few times, a rare car but not unique. . . price a little optimistic perhaps

Or you could have this for a mere A$60k. No dents, correct hubcaps, real leather upholstery, tyres that aren’t 44 years old, no rust, routinely serviced, regularly used and utterly reliable.

if the one can net half of that then it will bode well for other owners.... But I would wager the asking price will never be achieved.

I'm serious ... amazing car. The price isn't relevant as it will find its market value when it finally sells. I'd say closer to 50% of his asking price is probably reality. After all it may need considerable "age related" issues repaired if it's pressed into usage (rather than display type use).

What I find amazing in those unmolested and protected two cars is.......the colour of the light buckets!
So similar to the original light grey and the wheel colour

This car was auctioned on eBay a couple of years ago
I bid but the reserve was not met.
I spoke with the owner. He brought it with him from SA apparently.
Back then the owner said he was looking for around $80k.
