    Need to remove front lower wishbone bushes, any hints and tips would be appreciated.

    It is quite simple - just get a butane torch and burn them out. When one catches fire (black rubber smoke everywhere), let it burn for about 10sec and then hit it out from opposite end. Same with the other side. Clean up the arm and then 'pull' in the new bushes with a bit of rubber grease and threaded rod with big washer and nut at each end to pull them in. Whole job should take about 30mins max. Cheers.

    It may have been an isolated fault - but I had to change the front subframe on a GS once, because one of the bolt holes that the lower arm pivoted on, was ovular.

    Can't hurt to have a quick check while you're at it?
