    Default Citroen - Peugeot - Renault - Australian Y.T.D sales (Jan-Apr) 2018:

Sales figures have always interested me and so I've managed to come across some Year To Date (Y.T.D) figures for our favourite French brands so far for 2018 in Australia. Just to stir things up, I've also included Skoda, as it too, is a small Euro brand trying to find it's way in our market.

It's only early days, but Inchcape have some work to do, especially with regards to Citroen.

    G'day,

well, bears out my Pommie mate, he got an Octavia diesel last year and reckons it's fantastic. And, the reason I see so many Koleos' around here - of course the 'local' dealer has been giving it's advertising a bloody hiding.

Renault commercial is very visible. Saw, a few days ago, a Kangoo set up as a people car, looked like a great idea, especially for us old farts that don't want to climb anywhere any more - to get in OR out..

    cheers,
    Bob

Quite so - the local Renault dealer in Perth reckons Koleos models are just walking out of the showroom and you see Trafics and Kangoos here all the time. I'd have had a Kangoo for years by now but the two seat row option (available in NZ years ago) was never sold in Oz. So we have Scenics, "slide into cars" (I won't concede "old fart") that sadly aren't available new any more. Good secondhand buying.

The 3008 looks like the only PSA car raising a smile - they do need to get their act together!! Some good vehicles but...…

    Thanks for posting.

So cutting the dealer network in half seems to be going well.

I guess if they can sell a second Picasso soon they can announce 100% sales growth in 2018!!!

I wonder how these figures compare to the throughput of the axed dealers.

There aren't any Cits out on display at the Pug place I drive past. Now I will have the worry of getting the Takata stuff in the DS3 replaced in one of these shops. The ones nearby aren't fit to fix a billycart.

Wonder whether it was a Picasso or an incorrectly labelled Grand Picasso? If the former, it means no Grand Picasso sales in 2018. At all...

And a new distributor who knows the market and how to promote their product. where are the ads? I have heard even the dealers are ready to shut the shop as the distributors attitude is so far off.

    C4 Picasso - 1 Unit

Thatís crazy for 4 months. These are excellent cars and a new model on the floor this past few months. I can understand low sales but.... 1??

Unless thereís is a column for Grand Picasso missing - Iíd expect them only to sell 1 5-seater Picasso as they donít sell them at all anymore. Surely thereís something incorrect about these figures?

I found that bizarre as well! I couldn't find any Grand C4 Picasso sales at all, but you'd have to think they would have sold at least 10 for the year so far?

The one C4 Picasso, could be correct. I remember reading a few months back where a dealer had registered a new 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan that was left over!
