    Icon10 Importing Citroen H Vans

Hi Everyone, there has been a pitter patter of posts that I've found (endless days of trawling through all these threads!) but none that outline the process needed to import a Citroen H Van.

I have a couple that I'm looking at importing (pending the outcome of my research) to bring back home to Australia when I move there later this year, having lived in London for 10 years. Has anyone been in through the process (I have contacted 1 member I know for sure, but hoping for more recent cases)

I've used the government websites and I can't seem to see that the Citroen H is registered with SEVS or RAW..

any help would be HUGELY appreciated.

    Best and Kind Regards,

    Wilson

    Hi Wilson,

An agent over here who should be able to answer your questions and act on your behalf is "Iron Chef Imports". He is doing a car for me at the moment. You should be able to import at least one as your personal vehicle. The new rules also allow you to import anything that old I believe.

    Regards, Erik

Just make sure it is certified to be "asbestos free."

They do mainly do Japanese imports, but they also do others. The asbestos rule is a fairly recent thing that does complicated older cars/trucks. However if their agent has examined the vehicle overseas and certified that any asbestos has been removed then I gather the Aussie people will pass it and let it in.
