    Default Hydractive question

If you are to leave a weight (say 150kgs) in a parked C5 for about a month, is it a good idea to drop the suspension to its lowest level, or does it make no difference on either height setting?

What's the weight difference between empty and full in the fuel tank?

We've left our C5 long term parked at Sydney Airport a couple of years ago for a month. Left it exactly as it was when we drove in. No drop to low etc. Came back, chucked the luggage and three adults in and away we went. No problems at all.

I reckon your wallet would have been a bit lighter after a month at airport parking rates..

That is the point actually. 150 kg isn't ten times a fuel tank load, so probably of no practical consequence.

Well in 2015 it was OK as it was $199 pre paid for the month. I had arrived at the airport about 30 mins before Mrs UFO as I had come by train from work in Wollongong while she had earlier in the day gone to Westmead to collect our friend who was travelling with us.

Deb met me at the departures level, we left our friend waiting inside with the bags and we drove 50m turned right into the multi storey car park and found a spot 100m past the boom gate.WINNER! Then back to our friend and checkin etc.

On the return it took all of 10 minutes to dawdle from the terminal to the car and we were away.

I checked for this year's pending trip and the price has almost DOUBLED. Ah no - won't be doing that this time.

The $199 rate was fair enough considering all factors such as public transport connections to Gerringong on a Saturday night etc.
