Default Xantia SX II: Transistors for (Valeo) fan control

    Hi,
Back a few years ago I had a Xantia VSX series 1 and repaired the a/con fan when it stopped by replacing the transistors. I bought this series on Wednesday and found that the fan didn't work so I pulled it out and removed the controller and then then the resistors. The trouble is in 10 years I'd forgotten where I'd sourced the transistors. Can anyone help?
This car is in excellent condition and well maintained. I am wanting to sell me C3 hdi if any interested.

I reckon I got mine for that exact failure in the BX from Jaycar electronics in Perth - but no idea of spec I'm afraid. They are on Morphet St in Adelaide.

Hi Ted, RS Components are very good too. I have quite a few at home if you give me a rough spec ie current requirement.
woody. PS You have not answered my message about the Petrol Cap.

HI Brian! Hope you and Irene had a good time at the CitIn at Dalby.
Thanks for the info. My son Tim also had found a solution.
I've had to take the NS front door off again because I'd stuck the trim 25mm too high beside which when I'd painted it I hadn't used enough paint.
The market for Ds (indeed any car) doesn't look too promising at the moment. But that'll change.
For some reason I did not get your message re petrol cap. Could you send it again please.
    Griesy says he has one.

Yep the MJ11016 is a bit special. I am sure any other darlington PNP 30A power transistor would be just fine.

    Cheers, Ken
