Default Xantia steering rack pipe leaking

Hi just detected ome of the inlet pipes to rack is leakng fairly enthusiastically.

Easy enough getting access to and putting a spanner on, obviously I'll find out if its cracked when removing but wanted to know in advance if there's a rubber seal in there and what size it would be?

I changed a lower arm bush recently and it still has a clunk, I can't help thinking the pipe leak might be from some strain on the suspension from this bush problem although the hydractive is kaput and only behaves randomly and so when the car hits a bump sometimes the suspension is severely harsh and I guess this might be putting strain on the pipes also.

    Cheers

    Steven

Thanks Ken, this car is/was my daily but the D is going to get it's rego done this week. So there might be some paper swapping hopefully! I bought some bushes after reading your thread thinking job to be done; I guess finding a pipe might be hard work. I guess soldering one up might be a no no.

I think the Xantia noticed I was doting over the D too much and decided it was time for retribution!

    Limelight deprivation. A common problem.....

Weren't there threads in the past about the V6 cars cracking hydraulic pipes to the rack?
