    Default 2cv exemption conditions 301.

with the 301 registration on this car which is registered in WA and yet to be transferred to NSW, will the exemption be lost when/if I take out Conditional Rego instead of full road use. If I sell the car with Conditional rego will it be able to be reverted to full rego by the buyer and retain the 301 exemption on design and non_compliance plate?

    Hi
I have no idea what 301 rego is so 'please explain'
But NSW usually will not transfer odd rego exemptions or even engineering inspections unless they result in a standard registration issue.
But they do have a phone access to their engineering technical staff for an opinion. Look on the web site !
Note the car cannot be sold with conditional rego. It automatically lapses if you sell it.

CONDITIONS: 301 Imported vehicle - exempted from the Australian Design Rules and from the fitment of a compliance plate.

Warning...BE very careful that you have all the facts in writing from the NSW RMS.
