    Default Bubbles in fuel line

Doing a little maintenance today ( change air filter etc.) After I finished, started the car up and looked over the motor, OK, running smoothly. Then I noticed a tiny stream of bubbles in the fuel line from the filter, over the top of the inlet manifold. When I revved the engine a mass of bubbles went through the line. Is this anything to worry about? The car runs well.
Btw, the bottom sponge part of the filter was in tatters, lumps of the sponge were pulled out. Also there was quite a bit of rubbish and insects at the bottom. The local parts bloke says it was mice in the filter. He has had the same experience.

    Hi
If it is a diesel then no bubbles should be seen in the fuel line. If the bubbles have not cleared then you probably have an air leak at the filter. Sort it out before it cause problems.

If you bled the filter (screw on top) then bubbles should be minimal while the filter fills, then stop.
