Default Where to buy/import Xsara bodykits (WRC) and turbo kits

    Gday,
I was just wondering if anyone know where I could locally buy a Xsara VTS body kit and turbo setup?

If not, importing would be second best.

    Cheers

Send "Xsara" a PM as he did a lot of body work on his Xsara when he had it.
The present owner has done a bit more but the major part was done by Julian. There's quite a few pics of that car on this site if you go searching.
Is there something here that we don't know? Like you now have a Xsara perhaps??

If it ain't broke, use a 12" shifter.....that usually does the trick!!

    Cheers.
Dad actually has a VTS and wants to squeeze a bit more juice out of it.

But I'll tell you what, it handles like a rocket going to mars (Which is a good thing)!

He's seen Xsara's old Xsara and aspires to make his as good

The sad thing is, the resale value on the Xsara VTS is so low, I'd be able to buy it if I saved up for a little while

Ah well, I've got my 205 and 504 to keep me going. Maybe he'll let me take the Xsara for a spin some time in the future

I trust he has about $20K burning a hole in his pocket then?
Tell him to buy the hot rod C2 with all the rally gear attached....the ultimate mid-life crisis machine.

Is he selling his VTS??? Let me know if he does.

Get in contact with paul from autoparis, he'd be able to source some sort of kit for you.

    Hey,

my name was Xsara i changed it to Reno, since i now have a new car.

I did a fair bit of investigation with bodykits and alot of mucking around trying to find what was the bst.

Your Citroen Dealer can sell the Citroen Sport kit which was on my car, this fits well, is made from Plastic and probably the best quality kit your going to get.

I rang Autoparis, there prices were atrocious and it took a while to get reply's from them. I was asked for a price of a front grille, after about 2 weeks of hearing nothing i bought it from www.demon-tweeks.co.uk who are absolutly awesome, very professional mob. Based in the UK i got the grille landed here for $130. Then about 5 days after ordering it i got an email from autoparis, they wanted $300 for the exact same piece, from the same supplier.

I then placed another order with Demon Tweeks for some lexus style tail lights. the best price was from SRS auto, they wanted $700 for the light as they woudl be a one off order. i ended up getting them from demon tweeks for $430 landed here.

I also bought some eyebrows which were $90. Autoparis wanted over double that price for the same piece.

I told Paul about thier redicilious prices, he then assured me that they did some investigation and released they were getting ripped off from their supplier, and that they would be more compeitive next time. But i think after 2 outragious prices like those i wouldn't go back there.

So i would reccomend getting the Citroen kit first, then if you dont like that, speak to Demon Tweeks, (i payed creditcard over the phone) and shipping was about 2 weeks.

I know carzone make alot of stuff for the Xsara, its abit rice-boy style, and the kits are fibreglass, not as good quality as the plastic kits.

But i highly reccomend Demon Tweeks.

    Cheers'

    Julian

    Cituning

that includes getting new front and rear quarter panels....

glad to see that cituning has updated their site, what do you guys think of the enigma and monte carlo kits??

    Enigma

    Monte Carlo

and plus the front grill like julian's ex xsara...how much do you ugys think it would cost to bring the enigma kit here?? only 375 pounds for the whole kit....what are you honest opinions on it...my reasoning is, how many are here in oz?? possibly none....plus its got style and class, nothin like the 'jap crap' kits you see around....

the monte carlo one is nice too, similar to the WRC one and is not a wide body kit, round 500 punds for jus teh front and rear bars...

also can i ask where you got the stickers from julian?? and what whas teh new owner (name??) has done to it since buying it?

drop Harrisson_Citroen a PM for his name, he is the new owner. some people dont like their names to be spashed all over the internet so probably be better PM'ing him.

when i sold it it was the same minus the stcikers. i DID NOT put those on the car. the new owner put those on. apparantly they are original stickers from france. i think the stickers is all thats been done sine he took purchase.

i like the Enigma Kit out of those 2. Also the WRC wing it just too big, the wing on the back of the enignma kit actually looks good. the Monte Carlo wing style is just too big.

sorry but it is not that easy......
if the kit cost roughly 960.00 in the uk will be closer to 1500 or 2000.00
as freight is not cheap but customs is worse...
put it this way, a rear bumper from the uk worth around 450.00, landed here inc gst works out to be around 1100.00
    regards paul.

    Hi Xsara VTR

I'm the new owner of Julian's, those stickers have created a bit of controversy because most people have only seen pictures.
In real life they are actually excellent and suit the car to a T.
The silver of the paint matches the Citroen Red really well. And gives it
much more personality. I kind of think that it was a bit bland without them.
Also I have replaced the Chevron at the front but placed it behind the mesh,
it looks really cool and recommend it (it's not on these photos)

The downside of this is when you are in a public car park you have to stay with the car or anything can happen to it.

They are 100% genuine from CITROEN SPORT in Versailles FRance but not
    available to the public.
If you are keen it must be reasonably easy to get something similar made from local
    print shops.
Let me know if you want ot now anymore.

Forgot to say that besides the stickers I have not done anymore to the car.
I think it looks cool like that and more would be too much.!!!!!

I will get the windows tinted to deflects all the stunned mullets looks I get when driving the car.

In the future I will be looking for more power, and this is where the French connection will come in handy.

    Cheers

Gday harrisson_citroen - That car just keeps looking better and better!
When you say that the stickers aren't available to the public, would you know if that's firm or do you have some contacts?
I'd really like to get a set (I'd also like 2 sets of WRC style decals for the 205..)

    Cheers mate

    Hi DJ

I also think it looks better like that , specially in real life (better than pictures)
although lots of people on aussiefrogs don't like it.
When I say "not available to the public" I mean they are not on offer or for sale. They are not from Citroen itself but from CITROEN SPORT, I received the whole set of what actually goes onto their rally cars as one package,
through some special convincing techniques, with back-up from relatives in France.

Actually to be honest I wasted a couple of those big red chevrons trying to position them on the roof, hard to get straight and when I pulled them off they where stuffed.

SECRET SECRET SECRET, my aunt and sister are at present in France on holidays, back in two weeks. Part of their mission is to score more Cit Rally
stickers. Will let you know how I go.

If you are prepared to import, you may want to check out this website. They seem to stock bodykits for just about any Citroen at all. Good luck
