Default huh......turning off the radio on X7 2013 Exclusive with eMyway

The radio is on in the X7, I can turn down the volume on the screen but nowhere is there a function to turn the [email protected]@ding thing off.

I don't have to hear it obviously, but everytime I start the car it shows it on the screen as being on, with volume at 0.
Where the **** is the turn off function?

NB: Also I've just found out that if you type a four letter word (not rude) in a post that is different but similar to another four letter word (rude) it automatically gets replaced by****. Try it!
Some people will try it in their reply to me, I'm sure.....

On the early X7 you just push the volume button on the head unit

As a Administrator I reckon you may be able to let me know what's written above....

On my model, it's linked with the satnav and there is not actual button... Actually there is a button which says "radio" but if pushed the radio menu comes on screen and there is no "off", so it's been on since may last year...

Push the volume knob in, if that's what your radio has. My current C5 exclusive has a rocker button for the radio volume in which case the centre control knob turns off the radio (provided the screen is in radio mode).

-Pushing the Radio button opens the radio menu on the screen:
-Pushing the radio cursor left or right i only volume up or down, no "off"....

I just downloaded the handbook for your car in English - the only thing I can suggest after going through the Audio section is try pressing the Music button, this appears to take you from radio to alternative music sources and should shut the radio down?

    Cheers

If this is your headunit it looks like you have an on/off switch for audio

In the diagram/photo it is the chrome button to the left of the CD slot. A handy feature. I wish the notorious gang of one had such a function.

btw one American forum at least won't even let you say 'frog' ... noted while trying to cite an aeroplane model company that got their name from 'flys right off ground'

100% Correct!!!! First try this morning and whaaaam the radio is off!

I'd never even looked at that button as it seemed related to the CD player only, which I never use. That model C5 has a USB port, so I always use that instead.......and THAT is inside the centre console

    Thanks Guys.
