Default C5 X7 exclusive phone connection

Beginning to think that rigging up some sort of Bluetooth is all too hard in the cars with a SIM card slot . So has anyone ever used this system and if so which SIM card is the best bet to try ?

    Hi Guys,

Our Black X7 (now sold) has the sat nav and head unit with the sim card slot. It's fitted with a Parrot blue tooth unit. It has its own small screen.

Has any body actually fitted a sim card into the head unit in this model, to make sure that it operates on the same band as our networks?

    Best regards,

    Greg
