    Default Hydractive specialist Sydney?

My 2004 C5 is just about to hit the 300 000km mark.
Last service (Last Friday) my local mechanic noted slight leaking around the front Shock absorbers. He does not think anything needs to be done at the moment, just to keep an eye on it.
As the car is close to 300 000km it is probably time to have a 'specialist' check over the Hydractive system.

Thinking of getting it to Sydney where I can leave it for a week or so within the next couple of months.

Anyone on the forum able to recommend a Sydney Hydractive specialist?

Locating Jason Hantos is a job in itself, and a looong way from Hornsby station. See Mechanic In Sydney

I'd go the other way - take it to DS Motors in Brisbane.

Jason Hantos is located at 22 Kookaburra Rd Hornsby (down a long driveway near the end on the right hand side). I drive there, he drives me back to Hornsby Station. When I pick up the car, I take a train to Hornsby Station. Next to the western exit is a bus stop. Take the 596 Bus to Hornsby Heights, getting off at the first stop after Somerville Road. A 23 minute ride.

Look at Google Maps to orientate yourself.

Look at Sydney Trains for train/bus connections.

If you know that amount of detail, your Citroen and Jason have a close relationship and visit often.

Thanks for all the info and the directions to Jason Hantos (John).
I will have a chat with Jason and see about getting the car down there in the New Year.

Indeed, Spiro at Punchbowl is a top mechanic and knows Cits inside out, but you must allow to pay dealer parts and workshop rates.

If you have a leak developing, it won't get better on its own. The "New Year" seems quite a while to wait - I'd keep a very close eye on fluid levels and check for drips and wet patches after parking. Luckily, a teaspoonful of hydraulic fluid looks like half a cupful as it spreads so well.
