    Default GS storage, Western Sydney?

If I buy a GS to rescue it, does anyone in Western Sydney or Sydney have space to put it for a while? I would get it trucked there and then fly over to fiddle with it to see if it can be made to run and then work out how to truck it home.
Does anyone know why the Gs's for auction are 'non runners'?

    Regards, Erik

You could always ask European Autocare in Batt St, Jamisontown (a Cit mechanic) if you could rent a spot for a while. Their yard is a sea of elderly Citroens. (Look at streetview)

    Too right.
The six car collection currently on Gumtree got me very excited thinking the blue wagon was my old one but alas, has different numbers.
It is horrendous seeing them all in that state.
The white one in Sydney looks like a good rescue project but the guy really needs to upload some decent pictures.
Erik, like you, if I found my old car I would be asking the same question about storage.

They are such a beautiful little car and seeing the $300 collection ad really upsets me. Had that blue one been my missing cat, I was prepared to buy, bring to Sydney, store and eventually repair and put back on the road.
Despite feeling disappointed, I am also a tad relieved!
Guy contacted me and said the blue wagon starts and runs but the body is far gone in his words. Delta blue is a gorgeous color and with new paint, the car would be stunning. Not to mention a LOT of bodywork.
Being in that part of the country would make them susceptible to humidity and potentially sea air and with those two elements, the cars wouldn't stand much of a chance. Really, really sad and it would be great if someone took the lot of him and put them somewhere where they would be less likely to deteriorate at the rate they clearly are.
That pink one is a cutie too. Very interesting but pink!!

I'd like to see the GS generically raised in status. I hope that eventuates.
Sadly, the restorations will be a labour of love coz the market value of the GS makes it uneconomic.
