    Default Ds lhs firewall grommet

Needing some guidance on sourcing a part.

It is a grommet that lives behind the lhs suspension cover - attached a photo of the item removed and slid down the linkage.

The hole in the firewall is 30mm - does a readily available part exist, this is what I have found but cannot confirm they are correct:

    Any pointers greatly recieved.

    Thanks

If you mean the boot that fits around the suspension control rod that comes through the firewall, I believe it is P/N D 435-149.

If you have read any of the thread about repro rubber you might be thinking about another alternative!

Yes the repro rubber and its issues had crossed my mind....also I don't believe the original part is very sturdy being thin at the moving end.

I have had some sucess in alternatives in other areas. I haven also bought what I believe to be a good quality sheet of nitrile rubber and have been cutting this up into various shapes.

Hence looking for a wiring harness grommet of correct size....
