Default Another Plastic Fantastic back on the road!

Today I screwed the new number plates on the BX & took it for it's first drive in many years. I just love it!

Best looking BX I've seen in a long time. Love the paint job!

Thank you!.. The white is original. I just went over the top of the white, with the silver, as the bumpers were pretty ugly, & the lower half had many stone chips. Original wheels with a "paint job"

Thanks!! I did 300 klms over the weekend, on all sorts of roads & I'm very impressed with the car. I loaded it up with dynamat & sound proofing whilst it was apart, & I find it quiet, smooth & very comfortable to drive. It turns into corners very well, has sharp steering, yet it's soft & absorbent when it needs to be. Very stable & surefooted on the freeway too.

The BX is, in my view, a sensationally competent vehicle. I can't imagine what a revelation it must have been when new. We're lucky in Oz to have the up-market specifications and the largest of the engines of course.

I recommend you find it a mate, an Estate. They are huge and can carry half a tonne perfectly well.

    Cheers

A 5 speed GS is something that interests me, though I know they are extremely rare.
