Try this guy sells total and elf oils ,he is in machinery dr tweed south ,0421768221 ,there should be a good write up on here on auto oil for pug 405 ,from memory dex 3 has ,an detergent additive ,which when added to an old box loosens up lots of crud which gums up the valves ,seem to recall the consensus was to stick to dex 2 ,if you can get it ,do a search on here and ring old mate he may be able to help you ,pugs

Castrol Transmax M (if still available) is a compatible alternative.

NEVER use Dex 3 in a 'box that specs Dex 2.

Transmax M is not Transmax Multivehicle, which is Dex III

Correct. Transmax M, which now looks to have faded into oblivion, is not Transmax Multivehicle.

Good luck finding a Dex II equivalent.

Whoops - missed that one. I was tired last night from C4 engine mount replacement on Saturday (thanks) plus doing the bathroom shower floor tiling yesterday...

No need to think of spheres as dreaded, unless the previous owner overtightened them of course. They should be a doddle, although the accumulator is a tight fit on the BX if I recall correctly.

Plenty of help here if you have problems.
