I wonder whether it is one of those Area 52 cars?

    Thanks Shane.

I never thought I'd like shows that feature old american cars.... But I really enjoy several shows on the motortrend channel. They just "get it" ... Be down to earth, everythign doesn't have too be a high price restoration.

"Roadkill" is brilliant.... Find an old shitbox ... have fun with it... That's it ... do something fun
"Dirt everyday" ... they have fun... The hosts aren't knobs that are full of themselves.
"The house of muscle" .... really interesting. It's about the poeple that own the cars, more than the cars.
"Hot rod garage" ... Man you should see what they can get away with driving on public roads over there. eg: grab a really nice old ute "Truck" in american speak. These things would be hidious heaps of shit to drive. They grab a crown vic police car, unbolt it's body and throw the trucks body onto it

    "Dťesse" Roland Barthes, 'Mythologies', 1957

The Dťesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Dťesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.
