    Default Citroen DS restoration

    Hi all,

Since 2014 that I bought my DS I wanted to restore her to its original condition even though she was looking really nice. When I realize that the original color was AC318 Sable Metallise I was very skeptical because it's not of my favorites to be honest. During these 3 years I got used to the idea of this new color and I think I convinced myself that maybe I like it

Anyway the project started a couple of weeks ago and I will share with you the progress and ask for some advices on issues that may arise.

Itís a DS21 EFI Comfort 1971 and the previous owner had black leather interior and other Pallas details. Donít hesitate to write that the car looked very nice and I should keep it as it was if you believe so I have got used to hear it lol .

    The car how was looked.

In parallel door panels and interior (seat covers) restoration is also in progress:

that car is in a paint shop and it is going to be AC 318. I wouldn't have bothered except for the roof rail!

Pierre where did you source your seat covers? I wish to redo my covers in the same pattern and need to find the front seat rear white backing covers as you have in the photo,
    Cheers

Thanks Pierre, the usual supsects. Maybe the building the car was photographed in could do with more work than the car!
