Thanks Philippe we had a good time due in a large part to your hospiality!
Lets go to Brisbane next year. Its a different vibe. Usually more D's less 2cv's more tractions and SM's, better food, more french culture.
Venue not so good as Silverwater and less banter.
No judges . actually the judges were quite diverting even though
    they bore no gifts.

    Thanks for the pics.
Wow, 2 GS's being shown (and one of them a relatively uncommon colour) - better than Queensland or this year's national meet!

    Hi Guys,

We don't go to Silverwater every year, and the visit two years ago was pretty disappointing, with very few Citroens, and bloody cold.

This year was excellent, with a huge variety of models. The day needs a bit more publicity within the Citroen network to keep up the good attendance.

My only gripe on the days is the concourse! The concourse rules should be made available to everyone before you enter your car, so everyone knows what will be judged and how it will be judged.

The CCC of NSW also needs to decide if it wants to judge historic cars like the DS for originality or not. The ad hoc judging done now leaves much of the decision up to the judge, and with no real rules laid down on paper, no one knows where they stand, and whether they will not be penalised for non originality, or whether a completely original car will have priority over the former.

The whole concourse thing needs sorting and a set of rules formulated one way or the other about originality, so that everyone is treated the same. It also needs input from the members as to what is formulated.

Re the pics upside down.........A mate brought in another LWB H Van a few months ago, and I got some pics for a post. The pics all ended up upside down when I loaded them into Aussie frogs. He says it's something to do with taking the pics with an I Pad?

    Any ideas?

    Best regards,

    Greg

The pictures are upside down because EXIF said so. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exif
Many computer/tablet etc viewers will note this and show them right side up, but a file transfer sends them just as they are.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks heaps for the input re the upside down pics........I didn't take them, but I will pass them on to Steve, the H Van Owner. Funny, he often gets things arse up!

He also owns a Red Pompiers H Van that he uses to do coffee gigs. He did try to get into the Silverwater All French Car Day, but the PUG Car Club wasn't interested. Beats Me? Maybe they are affiliated with PSA? ROFLOL

I will try and get him to come along with us next year. The pompeir get so much attention. It still has the original French air horns.

    Best regards,
