Look at these prices and weep - Tie Rod End for your CITROEN C5 I (DC_) 3.0 V6 (207Hp). Mister Auto is owned by PSA!

Have you rung EAI at Thornleigh for a local price?

    Dear Gunnedah,
Try contacting EAI (eai.net.au I think) in Victoria - they sell at reasonable prices many Citroen parts.

EAI's office at Thornleigh 9481 8400 would get a quicker result.

The local PSA franchise is a price gouging disgrace.

Local's hardly the word. The "local" place is at Newcastle. The OP is from Gunnedah. It has become essential for Cit owners to know the various other parts sources, as few regional general mechanics have a lot to do with them.

Dealer parts pricing has a lot to do with sales downturns in some makes - the mechanics spread the word to their customers.

I meant the Australian dealer network.

I wasn't tearing into you. The Cit network is now so sparse as to be a serious problem in its own right. Hardly anyone has a local. The excessive parts mark-ups offend the mechanics and that becomes a burden on sales. I don't know if Inchcape will reform anything, but time will tell. It's a crazy state when so many of us here import small parts.
