    Hi,

The mirrors are designed so that if hit, they can twist forward or back.

Just grab the mirror with two hands and rotate it to its normal driving position. You will hear it click back into place. All should be normal once its back.

Let us know how you get on?

    Best regards,

    Greg

it comes back not to the exact alignment. BUT:
when closing the car: the mirror closes and doesnt stop - it turn more than the other mirror and stucks beyond the colission point with the window rubber side.
it gets stuck as my description and when openning the car - doesnt turn to open because it stuck.....

any point about disconnecting them electrically?

    Hi,

When you turn it manually, is there a definite click into the locked normal position?

If not, then there is something broken?

You could try disconnecting the battery, and see if that restores things?

I'm not sure how the electrics in the mirror work, but presume that the motor has a drive cog that rotates the mirror, similar to the drive motors on the fresh air/ recirculating motor on the AC, so either the mirror has jumped its correct position, or has broken teeth.

Only by pulling the mirror apart will you find the problem.

    best regards,

    Greg

You can disconnect them by unplugging it from the door harness. You'll have to remove the door trim......but you'll have to remove the door trim to take the mirror off or replace it.

The door trim is pretty straight forward. The cover on the door pull has to come off, as well as the speaker. There are 1 or 2 screws in the speaker aperture.
