    Default C4 vts rear brakes

    Hello all
    2007 build C4 vts
    Is the LHS rear calliper piston, screw-in anti-clockwise??
    RHS is clockwise, but I am getting nowhere fast with LHS rear clockwise??
    appreciate guidance

    My manual says dans le sens horaire, ie clockwise, but I usually just go by what direction works. The tool has a handle for each way.

    I think when I did our C4 a while ago it was clockwise.

    Hi Seasink is correct.......

    Factory service documents say both sides clockwise, but generally they are fairly tight to begin with, and you need a fair bit of force both turning and pushing against the piston.

    Citroen documents show the factory tool base sits against the piston, and the threaded head, up against the other side of the calliper, so that when you turn the handle clockwise, it rotates the piston, and as it winds in, it pushes the piston back.

    Aftermarket tools work the same.
