    Hi David,

    Not sure whether Balki could help. He has done a resto on a B14. Send him a PM anyway.

    Citroen B14 small restoration

    Cheers, Ken

    Hi David
    I do not know for your Citroen B10/12 engine, but consulting DYKES Automobile and Gasoline Engine Encyclopedia of 1932, it suggests this as general advice;
    Valve clearance; "The usual clearance is 0.003"to 0.005"when hot. -----. In the absence of explicit instructions-- side valve 0.004" hot, and over head valve 0.008"-0.010" hot. In this way one will be safe" !!
    Magneto points gap varies but suggests 0.015" to 0.020". Bosch 0.016" and some suggestions for other makes too ! What 'ave ya got ?
    Says the platinum points are very delicate and need to be adjusted carefully
    Cheers Jaahn
