Default Xantia CT Turbo Front Suspension Bushes.

I am chasing Front suspension lower control arm bushes [trailing ] locally if possible & have been unable to contact Dapco on their advertised phone numbers.
    Any ideas please ?

Don't know if these bushes are different in a CT (compared to an "ordinary" Xantia), but if so I would be wary of ordering them from Dapco. On 2 occasions (admittedly not recently) I have tried to purchase things like spheres (which are Turbo CT specific) and despite supplying info such as VIN, received the more common SX units.

EAI will tell you straight away if they are unable to supply something.

    Cheers

how did tou go with the bushes for your Xantia Richard? I’ m looking to replace the lower arm front bushes on a CT Turbo and even though I have a parts book can’ figure out the part number, can’t read it off manual!

probably do both when I figure it out, part C and no 9.
    Any clues appreciated.

Yes, I suggest contacting EAI for the parts (if not already done).

I was wondering if there is a more generic Peugeot part that costs half the price!

I went to get a wheel alignment done and they pointed out the pivot bush was shot on the right, which explained a bit!

The rear bush comes only with the arm in that diagram and also in the current diagram for XA1 CT. There are a few arms, so you'd be chasing it via the VIN, but probably NFP anyhow. Item 9, the front bush is serviced separately, so you could buy that as a genuine item, but not the rear bush. Aftermarket, there will be parts on offer. You could look for Meyle 11-14 610 0004 and 11-14 610 0005 or they do the whole arm. Others like Sasic no doubt offer the parts for less.

I bought two (C2005260) Lower Control Arm Bush Xantia Fnt from Martin at EAI. Had one fitted to my Xantia on Monday as that was the day my rego would expire. Cost about $30 each. Only needed one so the other is a spare. It is a SASIC brand.

I have had a big problems with front suspension bushes on my Xantia v6. Fitting non genuine a total wast of time money and a new set of tyres. I actually hat 2 consecutive rt rear lower bushes fatigue and split the steel ring that the do called rubber mounts in after about 2 weeks after being installed. Could have caused a serios accident if it happened at speed! I ordered genuine bushes and all is good now. The genuine bushes were around $50 or $60 as I recall as opposed to the ridiculously cheap aftermarket rubbish. As they say. " If it sounds too good to be true it probably is! " David

PS the inferior unservicable bushes were Sassic brand. Check out the treads and posts on repro rubber.
