Default Xantia brake control valve parts required

Can anyone please assist with the best source of supply of a new brake control valve boot for a Series 2 Xantia (part number 95 640 067, I believe) and some hydraulic pipe seals (3.5mm ID); in fact, the best source of Xantia parts, period - and LHM.

When parts like this (brake control valve boot) fail, I often wonder whether it has just worn out, or is there some underlying reason why it has failed (i.e. something else is not quite right). Any suggestions?

    Chris

There were already some answers to your question early on in this thread:
Citroen Xantia Brake Control Valve Leak

You won't need the pipe seals unless you have decided to remove and strip the valve. You do not need to disconnect any piping to change the boot. You can often reuse the seals and can turn them around if they are a little daggy.

You can still order some parts from Citroen dealers, but an increasing number of parts for XM, Xantia and even early C5 are now marked NFP (i.e. NLA). The basic service parts are still available and there are aftermarket options available from local vendors like Dapco, EAI and overseas some parts are carried by CTAServices and Franzose etc... Micksgarage is worth a look and they often have a 20% off sale. eBay will turn up some useful items, including NOS items the factory no longer sells. Freight can be the killer from O/S. Some of the local dealers and specialists will buy parts from a wholesaler in Melbourne who does keep a reasonable selection of parts, so that is another option.
