Tempted to take a look, looks complete, but quite tired...

Interior looks good and its go th the 2.3 EFI motor.. Its not registered and needs the hydraulics topped up to drive apparently..

That car has been discussed here previously. The price has recently been reduced, the interior is clearly not original, but good repro interiors are easliy sourced. The body looks ok, no doubt there is a bit of rust, the question is, how much. If it isn't going, looks like it wouldn't take much, the angle of the radiator makes it almost certain the rear engine mount on the RHS has retired. But, as the ad states, it's all there, and you're in Adelaide! easy to have a look.

I like this comment from the Gumtree ad. . .

Somebody with knowledge how to restore this car would have a 3 - 4 fold return on the investment
Even without that knowledge. . .

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

Now I see where he gets the '3 fold' return idea - Normally you'd have to travel to Red Hill for that kind of a deal.

No EFI motor in there nor pallas trim. Offer, maybe, $3.5-4 k the successful Grays bidder probably got more than they bargained for.
At $9k in that condition, they must be dreaming.

Same car here I presume: Citroen Ebay listings..

Without wanting to offend, if you think there is a 2.3 EFI engine hiding in that poor thing ... keep looking until you understand why it isn't and what you are looking at. It will save you a lot of money and headaches if you can recognize something in reasonably OK order and sensibly priced for whatever it is. Of course, you could buy a car like this and do the absolute minimum and just drive as is without undertaking a restoration. Not ever car should be be restored an some might be best used as is. The problem is knowing what the 'bare minimum' will be and what it will cost.

That's a Special not a DS and certainly not a 23 or Pallas or Fuel injected.

    74 D Special, and now a 74 Pallas 23 5 speed with air(maybe). And now a Cactus!

    Oh, and a Holden.
