Default Does anyone know this car?

    Hello Frogs,

I've had my eye on this BX TRi wagon:

    https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/d...14025907/?Cr=0

Apparently it's from Horsham, Western Victoria. It was traded and has popped up for sale at a wholesalers.

Anyone know anything about it? From the club stickers and the Cit In sticker on the back, it must be known to someone on this site.

    Happy New Year to all,

    "Déesse" Roland Barthes, 'Mythologies', 1957

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

I think you might be right there, Chris, thanks.

The ironic thing is that I saw his 'new toy' in the car yard as I was driving past a couple of months ago. I pulled in to have a look but didn't have time to take it for a drive. The salesman told me that someone was interested in it, but I thought it was just a line he was spinning me. I went back for a drive two days later and sure enough...

... I reckon he got a good buy. That'll teach me to procrastinate!

Hey! Don't you still win if you buy the BX estate? Rare, practical, known history(?) and a fraction of the new toy price. Could be a bargain.

For sure, if I can find out about the history on here could be a good buy. Could be worth taking a chance on anyway...

Of course I would still need to look at a newer family car as well, horses for courses and all that.
