Default Citroen Parts & Service List?

I noticed the "sticky" in the Peugeot forum with a list of Pug parts suppliers nationwide, any chance of getting a nationwide list of all Citroen parts & service providers? Would be invaluable for new members & wouldnt really constitute as advertising would it if all are mentioned?. My belief is there are a lot of "tinkerers" out there which a lot of people are unaware of. Just a thought? If OK I will post list of all WA guys ASAP. Cheers

Great idea. I'd love to hear from suppliers on this board who love their froggies as much as we do. They'd get my business.

    Default WA list

Here is a list of West Aussie parts suppliers & service/repair specialists for Citroens. Hope this helps someone.

    2CViking 9354 2299 (Name says it all really) 2cviking@fosselius.dk
    Euromotive 9446 8890 (All models, mainly 1980 plus) euromotive@euromotive.com.au
    Chevron Downunder 9371 0092 (All models) http://chevrondownunder.com/
    Eurocare (9355 2712) eurocare@iinet.com.au
    Bob Senn (Re-gassing & Repair) 9525 5135
    Jolly Nice 2CV Spares'n'service 9459 1636

I have left out the dealers & only included dedicated enthusiasts who have a love for the marque & are totally commited to keeping them on the road!
Perhaps we can have these added to a list from the other states?

No worries, whenever I go East I try to go & see as many Citroen parts suppliers & repairers as I can. You never know what you will find!!. I think a list would be very helpful. PS How do we get a sticky set up?

And of course we need to add the most important suppliers:

Roger Parker (oleopnematics <sp> in adeliade) --DS
Martin Bray (adelaide) --All modern Cit's CX & later
    David Cavanagh --French Connection Melbourne

there's not many others that I can think of that I'd recommend (as I have dealt with them).

He always seemed nice when he appeared in those "American Express" ads years ago with Carl Malden.

    Icon5 Citroen supplier/repairer in Canberra?

This list is a great idea. Can anyone provide details of parts supply in Canberra, and maybe a friendly mechanic who is comfortable helping amateurs who get out of their depth?

I've been working on Pugs for years, have just taken the plunge and bought my first Citroen (GS 1220 break, as advertised on Aussie Frogs!). Enjoying the driving experience, but can anyone tell me how you change the points for instance... using mirrors and dental instruments, or do you just pull the dissie out and do the points while it is out??

    Default Cit mech in Perth

Thought I'd add Swiss Automotive Services in Mosman Park WA. Francois there has just done some work on my D & it was top notch! He works on many DS's & is happy to work on all Citroens & Peugeots. He was trained on Citroens in Europe & is highly qualified to do all work.

In WA, you have forgotten Laurens Borg, 168 Brennan Rise, Gidgegannup 6083. Phone 0895746435. Laurens specialises in the 'D' & the CX models. He has plenty of used parts for both.

Just thought I'd add that Euromotive has now moved to 7/27 Collingwood St, Osborne Park (WA). Ph number remains unchanged.

I have to start to wind down my supply of CX parts.
We have done rebuilds, and mods as well as having parts on hand from cars we've imported and wrecked.
There's complete bodies about 90% rustfree, 5 speed gearboxes, 2200 recon head including valve guides (cost $550 to do) engines suitable for rebuilding complete, seats and a host of other bits including two as new rear doors totally rust free.
I will compile a list as soon as time permits, but I reckon we could have the most comprehensive supply of CX parts possibly in Australia.
Only problem I can see is that we are in central coastal Queensland so possibly cartage may become an issue although most I feel can be handled by rail.
I also have a friend wrecking a BX and we also have a few excess BX parts that we may be able to supply.
Anyone with a wish list, drop me a PM and I'll respond with pics and we'll try to negotiate prices to suit.

    I would direct you towards
Plier Dees if I could spell it
There in Queensland, which is somewhere north of Sydney
Used them for hydraulic parts and tools like the the pipes, nuts and swaging.
