    Default GS Pallas sold Shannons

Is the best GS I have ever seen.

$7k what a bargain for the new owner. Sadly however its probably only a fraction of what was spent to restore it.

Yes, I was sorely tempted but I have too many Peugeots taking up space!

    So.... Who bought it?

Sparkey was it you? Or Andrew wanting a matched pair? Or HotrodElectric for export - even if not a wagon? I was "interested" but one more car would fracture my marriage and still nowhere to put them all....an absolute bargain below estimates.

Fess up, who is it? Could it be Dogboy in a GS-speculative mood, or is the convertible and the ID keeping him out of this sector of the market? Or has it gone interstate?

leconte - There were some online bids but the winning bid came from the floor. No idea who it was.

Club mate & I put 250hrs into the tail end of this project. You could probably multiply that by three for overall time spent.

To a degree, its not about the money; its the passion. At the end of the day, every restorer needs to do a cost benefit analysis on any project.

yet, in a forced sale situation the sum of it's parts, the labour, et cie , et cie, are all for nowt, maybe.
if not one of us, pray they do not appreciate it and resell soon.

I was tempted to have a go but I am under pressure to sell at least one of my cars and the GS sedan just doesn't do it for me...if it were a wagon in that condition I would certainly had a go...great price for an end user but there is no upside for anyone to flip..or hold....sad but true story of the GS (at this stage)
I have recently bought a Bay window Kombi camper...there is a theme in cars i like....wagons and vans
Escape machines I love...hence HJ Sandman.DS Wagon,C5 wagon,a GS wagon would be cool and i owned a BX wagon in the past which was great....and not forgetting the cavernous CX wagon...would like one of those as well....too many cars, too little time...
