I have an SM here with a bent upper wishbone (Radius arm?) (I mean bent more than it should be) Please can someone tell me if it is the same as one off a DS ,of which I have heaps.

Parts manual for the SM and D show the same part number(s). . . both upper and lower should be interchangeable between models.

    "Déesse" Roland Barthes, 'Mythologies', 1957

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

Your not repairing one that got bent on the back of a tow truck in Victoria are you?

SM Part no for Gauche is 5 406 667 V
SM Part no is Droit is 5 406 668 F

Do these match DS part numbers? If not perhaps Peter McLeod could help.

    Cheers, Ken

Whoops, I copied the part numbers for item 5 not item 4 as I had intended. I should be working on my bigger screen.

I have also realised that you cannot rely on a copy and paste from an PDF document.

Your SM Parts pdf looks a lot clearer then mine.

    Well done Chris.

    Brian,

As others have said - exact same part. On the SM they are just mounted 'backwards' compared to a D . Half shafts are the same also, the only difference being that on the SM both sides are of equal length.
