Default CITROEN GS PALLAS - shannons

congratulations gentlemen on the restoration of the GS. i trust that it will achieve the price it deserves being an iconic model in the Citroen line up. your efforts are a testament to the original owner and also to the integrity of this model by keeping original.

    fantastic.

Dave_R16TS - there is a bit of fluff and rhubarb but page 12 blog #294 of the following link gives you a little bit of history. Naturally, Shannons professional photos, when they come up will give a clearer picture of the final product:

Nice one! But, the GS Pallas, do they not have the double headlights ( which I dont really like) , rather than the single lights as in the Club?

i think double rounds were expensive third-party Morette options domestically ... here, i dunno but sure were common then though.

Four headlamps were standard for the later Grand Exportation/Distant Export models

Yes this car did originally have the four headlight Morette units. But the late owner, Daniel wanted the one piece headlights. So to honour his wishes it is now fitted with brand new five sided headlights.

Maybe if there was a video we could ears it.
I knows it is considered verboten by some to comment about ANY vehicles for sale here, doing so obviously deserves righteous censorship but nevertheless I sincerely hope it goes for way beyond the estimate.
Someone is about to be a happy GS owner.

Well it's make your mind up time. You only have the weekend to think about it.
Our dear late friend Daniels Citroen GS Pallas is up for auction at Shannon's on Monday evening.
Sparkey and I will be there early if you want to ask us anything before you bid.

    Happy bidding.
    Cheers Andrew
