And are soon parted from their money.

I've seen worse, but that would be a hard case for a resto.

How good would it be if everyone could make such considered well thought out contributions. Reminds me not bother with the Pug forum.

I read that as the dialogue between someone saying they wanted to buy the car, and their better half. Having experienced something similar the week before (w.r.t. this car), it seemed humorous.

El beasto! Try parking that mother somewhere inconspicuous. To pugs defence they do have arrogant clearly displayed so that might be taken as an acceptable form of registration to administer such posts.

looks like a wrecking yard promising nothing other than a parts cars with "rust" as the description. What is it worth to you ? Probably more than them... why not grab yourself a parts car. Be warned though, it appears to be an extremely un-appealing specification (from a parts car perspective, no gearbox, no injection, no pallas exterior trim etc..).. A carby, slugomatic non pallas. So you would be looking at mechanical parts only really for a non injected car.

It's also interesting, I never realised they sold carby non pallas automatics. Possibly it's a DSpecial converted to a slugomatic ?

I doubt it's a DSpecial. That's hellalotta work for not much gain. Remember too, the BVAs were originally intended for the US market, and we never got injection. I know it doesn't mean much, but the interior shot shows the white vinyl capped doors and the Pallas headliner. I'm thinking more a Pallas that had a poorly done reskin or some pisspoor bodywork and paint at some point.

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

That's white paint The DS's and Dspecials in australia are quite highly spec'd and have the foam backed carpets and high back seats, power steering etc... Most DS's sold in Australia are a pretty good spec

Now I think about it. Wasn't Paul Smiths DS23 a carby non pallas automatic
