Default Ride Wanted in a D Saturday 26th March 2016

Two musicians after some years had decided to tie the formal knot in a non traditional wedding and the bride to be would very much like to arrive in a Citroen ID/DS.

As mine is US, I was asked to ask if somebody else may volunteer for a 1/2 hour drive from Collins Street to Malvern.

Yes, they had to pick the WE of Citin Echuca! I was not happy but as my son is the bridegroom I was not allowed to go to the Citin. This WE was chosen as it it the 20th anniversary of them meeting whilst at Deakin University Malvern Campus.

So, if there is somebody else in Melbourne with a D that is not going to Echuca next WE and is willing to help this young lady out, please PM me.

She had offered a nice bottle of wine but I will better that with a nicer bottle of red being:

    • Rockford Basket Press Shiraz 2002 OR a Rockford Black Shiraz (Disgorged 2007)

    Regards,

    John

PS: Please check out Rockford wines if you are not familiar with them (especially the Black Shiraz) and check out the musicians at: Dandelion Wine - Melbourne, Australia

Don't your entire family know rule number 1? PLAN FOR NOTHING involving the Cit nut during Easter.

Yes and we can be lucky that they appreciate it. We know some that take their parents for granted despite the parents being in their 70's + and have health issues!

I can assure you I have to be there.

In this day and age, children attend their parents wedding but not their "honeymoon". As Les said above; we do a lot for our children and hence we are baby sitting on Saturday night.

    Regards,

    John

It sure was a great day without the D because nobody new of her desire to arrive in a D but boy, the D would have made it even better!
