Default '96 Xantia restoration Project if anyone is interested.

    hi Froggers,

I have a '96 Xantia restoration Project for anyone who wants it. This car rides PERFECTLY. All the spheres are good. The alternator is good. The motor has never failed to start. The engine may need valve stem seals and possibly even honing and new rings. It does not leak engine oil.
It would also be a great spare parts car if you have a Xantia. It's a 2 litre petrol, and a 4 spd auto.
It has leather seats, and the brakes are fantastic. New front rotors and pads a year ago. NO rust.
Electric windows and mirrors. The central locking all works perfectly. Electric windows all work perfectly.
    It has new front tyres.
The power steering needs a new pressure seal on the pinion .
We would be happy to give it away for free to any Citroen enthusiast who really wants a good little project, and a car that rides fantastically well on the Citroen Hydraulic LHM sphere system.

This car was seen on "The Unexplained Files" series one, episode one, on cable TV.

You just have to come and collect it. Or organise a car transporter to pick it up.
    Location, Beaumaris, Victoria.
(Note.. As it's a restoration project it's now unregistered ( as it was the day I bought it) and no RWC, however it's very very close to RW. )
Send me a PM if you want this car for a spare parts car or to restore.

I advertised ours once, not a single response. Such good cars, so little appreciation.

Ours has just been traded on a Renault Scenic, and there's a rumour it might be heading east. More when I know. Mind you, ours could be driven to Sydney without more than checking tyre pressures.

Hello, as it isn't eating anything, can't you just keep it?

It's a good job you didn't post on the UK CCC forum, there are only three posts a week on there, if you're lucky.

With the bits Peugeot forgot to add - hydraulic self levelling suspension, minimal brake pedal travel and a hatchback to make them really useful.

    I asked the right spouse.

Xantia safely parked in the driveway awaiting the "getting the D going"!

    Thank you George,
