    Default RAL colour equivalents

Has anyone any idea which RAL colour would match AC640 Delta Blue?

    Or

Is the Manta ray shaped air scoop under the front bumper on a 1974 DSuper5 always body colour?

    Thanks

AC 640 will be in the computers of any good paint shop/panel shop. You should be able to have it made up for you to any quantity you require.

Yes, the lower front panel on a Dee is always body colour.

That is.... since May 1957.... before that DS19 cars had a finely ribbed aluminium trim either side.

Sorry can't help you on the RAL colour but I don't know if this will help you at all - the following codes relate to the paint manufacturer's codes for AC 640:

    Berger: No.6750
    G.I.P: GM.30749
    Valentine No. 35488
    I.P.J. No. M.309

Thanks for all the information. I'm having all the under bonnet metal parts blasted, zinc sprayed and then powder coated. AF has already given me all the RAL codes for the brown and grey colours. While I was at it, I was going to do the air scoop in the same way.
I'll see what is left after the blasting, if anything, and take it from there.
