Default C5 2010/11 Running light bulb replacement

The driver's side running light on my 2010/11 C5 has suddenly stopped working. The handbook says replacement needs to be carried out by a CitroŽn agent. I can see it's hard to get at, located as it is underneath the main headlight assembly, but is it replaceable without going to a dealer? I suppose I should check that the fuse is intact first.

It is a wierd bulb - 20 or so watts QI but with some pins that go into a socket. I have thought of getting one in advance as we have our lights programmed to be on as well. There were some LED equivalents available from the UK on ebay. I'm sure if you are a bit handy you could change them yourself if you can get them. There is also a wierd QI bulb in the rear lights for reversing lights but I think BMW use these as well.

Ah well. Looks like I should leave it to the professionals, even if it means a reverse mortgage on the house. At least they may only need to remove the front bumper. I was worried it may have been the whole engine. I'll let you all know what the answer is when I take it to Perth for its 60k service next month.
