    Default Ds5

I am thinking of upgrading from my 2013 DS4 to a DS5 is there any nastys with the DS5 that I should be aware of? I have read the suspension is harsh! Any advice greatly appreciated.

Tried to sit in the back of one and could not fit. Pretty poor for Citroens top model. I would suggest you grab a test drive of a Cactus, it supposed to be OK in the suspension department but again I have not driven one yet either. At least you will be driving a Citroen that looks like nothing else which is good. Continental Cars will get their Australian spec cars which you can test drive by yourself in about 3 weeks.

I wouldn't mind if Santa got me a Cactus, but an 81kW/5 speed manual probably won't cut lordy50's mustard. The DS5 has the 133kW/400 Nm HDI engine and a killer of an interior.

Correct, if I could have got into the back seat I would have been stuck for the rest of my life. Drive the Cactus before you judge on engine power alone. It weighs only a ton

Thanks for the replies, I've read a lot on other forums and decided to stay with my DS4 for the time being.

The 5s are a darn nice looking bus and I'm warming to the Cactus. I can afford neither and look forward to getting my D on the road this year, with full Dness! A CX 2500 Gti would be good too ; )

    Please tick option applicable:

    - Dness was built in at time of purchase

    - Dness personally retro-fitted by me

    - Dness does not exist it is only a figment of Harrisson_citroen's imagination

    - WTF is Dness?

You wrote it! Dness. You know, you get in and drive and go wow. Next week I'm getting new spheres in on the xantia, hopefully it will regain some Xness!

Yes I know, when I say WTF is it, I'm horsing around. I started the other thread about it. It's just that some comments alluded to it just being a figment of my imagination.

Nothing to with a Ds5 but just put all new spheres on the Xantia and big improvement in floatiness, but really its just highlighted its other problems! Ha ha

Don't worry a lot of that 'floatiness' will disappear as the air that got into the system as you changed the spheres works it's way out again...
