    Default WANTED 3.0 L PRV Motor

    Can anyone tell me where I might find a 3.0 L even fire PRV motor (finishes 1998)

    You would have the later non PRV 24valve engine ...... Try David Cavanagh. He has probably wrecked lots of 505 V6's

    Or Martin Bray over in Adelaide. He should have a few ex-XM engines in stock.
    The Pug route is a safer bet and you are more likely to find something nearby.

    Only ever been 1 or 2 505 V6s in the country, they were 2850.
    Not many more 605s than 505 V6s, even though were officially imported, they were 3 litre.
    Volvo is the best bet for a 2850, Renault Laguna for the 3 litre.

    If this is the same spec as was fitted in 12v XMs then there may be one available in Sydney.

    I have one . It's a 3L Renault motor that was FWD and has been converted to RWD using 604 and Volvo bits , it's fitted with high compression Pistons , big cams , ported heads , high performance valve springs , alloy rockers etc. it has a flywheel and a BA7/5 gearbox that can be part of the package.
