Default CX - Interior Window Seals

Just wondering if anyone knows where you might get a set of the rubber seals, new or reproductions, for the interior side of the the windows. CX of course.

I'm fairly sure I got mine a few years ago from CX Basis and that at the time they weren't actually in the on-line catalogue. Perhaps email them and ask?

If you can find a set off a 2200 they are a better quality than the later ones and have nice little moulded plastic ends that look so much better! What is more they do not seem to warp with heat through the window glass. You can of course straighten you originals out if you still have them. Just lay them in the bath tub and our very hot (not boiling) water over them and pull the straight, When you are happy with them set the straightness by introducing cold water. They will of course warp again eventually but you can repeat the process. Carefully check the metal clips that retain them as the can pop out of the inner channel in the plastic strip. These are the small clips, not the four clips that secure the door trim on the top edge of the door panel. Those clips play a part in the retention but do not give as much trouble unless they have come away from the door card!

Isn't Lauries car a Series II The inner seals should be fine and aren't really effected by the heat!

They were affected by someone who previously removed them. Not a heat issue unfortunately.

    BTW, it is home
