So I have found 3 in Victoria. Are there any in SA? Are there any elsewhere?

I can pay up to $5k it for a good one.

That is Shane's old car. And Keith has done heaps of work on that one. I think it is documented in AF.

Thanks for the heads up. The question is, has the need to spend money on it stopped? No need to start a slagging match here though, i will give him a call.

Are there any other diesel imports lurking around?

If it was Shanes' car, it should be well looked after (while he had it) it is coming up for a timimg belt though and, you will need to check the top suspension rubbers and engine mounts.

That car would be excellent buying at that sort of money. It's had 10's of thousands spent on it. He even rebuilt its motor that I thought was perfect. I don't think there could be any left on it that hasn't been repaired or replaced in the not to distant past.

I think the car looks stunning. And the drive to South Australia would be fun, relaxing and cheap on fuel....

    If I wasn't so keen on a getting a 2CV I would be tempted.

I reckon this would be a ripper! Very unusual car. The story says it is the highly desirable 2.0l turbo diesel whereas the main specifications say FUEL TYPE: PETROL PREMIUM UNLEADED. Take it for a test drive and have a good look under the bonnet.
