    Default 2015 Citroen C4

    2015 Citroen C4 prices announced

A few minor changes/improvements, and the new motor. Sime Darby seem determined to sell as few of this model as they did of the last, with a very large price increase.

No more diesels, 6sp auto only (the new Aisin EAT6 has replaced the AL4)- spec here: http://www.citroen.com.au/Modules/LS...DocumentId=260

Australian reviews are starting to appear. Apart from the price comment it's positive - Citroen C4 first drive review

Such a shame about the price. Makes the more advanced (same drive-train, but newer platform) 308 seem like great value though. Hopefully Peugeot will sell quite a few.

As always the price is the killer........ just think what else you can buy for that sort of $$$. It opens up a whole new ball game.

I feel for the dealer(s). How are they to survive when such stupid decisions are made. Wether made by the French or Sime Darby doesn't matter. Look at Renault as an example as how to do it. A bit of advertising, good finance deals. Result: a lot more new Renaults on the road than Citroens. It would help if the Citroen factory respected and used their heritage, but that is not relevant in the current argument. After all what is the difference between a Renault or Peugeot and Citroen. In the C4s case nothing, so if they can sell Renaults, why not Citroens. A failure in marketing in the Australian market made worse and ably demonstrated by this decision.

Couldn't agree more with you Greg. This decision is another misjudgment by Citroen.

It isn't that it's dearer than comparable others - please have a peek at the kit level - http://www.citroen.com.au/Modules/LS...DocumentId=260. This is a true auto, 6 sp, with a heap of goodies that appear to match the C5 offerings.

What seems uncompetitive is the lack of a lower spec version. There is only one engine/transmission, and two upmarket equipment/trim levels.
