Default Part Numbers for Harmonic Balancer, Water Pump Timing Belt and Seals

    Hi

We have an early 2005 2.0 litre petrol C5 and its coming up for a timing belt replacement.

I'd like to replace the following:

    Timing Belt
    Water Pump
    Oil Seals
    Harmonic Balancer

The cars VIN Number is VF7DCRFNF76476561

Can any one give me the part numbers of the items I've mentioned above, eg Valeo XXXYYY?

    Regards

    Alan

Ask your local CitroŽn dealer for part numbers.

With the VIN, part numbers can be got from the Citroen service site.

Also this mob will know - EAI: European Auto Imports. Provide them the VIN.

I'm not sure if he's still there, but About ? French Car Service Parts would know too. Both of these are in the Hornsby area, but will courier to you.

At Granville, Colliers would know and can supply also - Specialists in Renault and Peugeot Service and Parts.

Hi Alan, have you done one of these before? I did the belt on my Xantia, also a 2 ltr petrol engine. It's a very good idea to change the harmonic because they have timing marks which slip around with time and so cannot be relied upon. The new one should be right, however even then I'd go by the woodruff key position in conjunction with the TDC of the number 1.
    Good luck...
