I think the twin pipes were on it when Justin owned it anyway.
I think this kind of mod is a love/hate thing depending on how you view your use & ownership of a car. The beauty of this car is & always has been that it is different to the cars most of the current generation of up & coming drivers ever consider and opens up the marque to a whole new range of potential owners.
If it gets a few of the younger guys just looking, it then starts them exploring what else Citroen make & in lots of cases they can end up going for something entirely different but based on interest created by something like this, particularly now we have Loeb & Sainz & co in teh WRC.
I wouldn't personally do it, but having said that, it shouldn't be bagged as if nothing else, it turns heads and draws attention to Cits.

As others have said it's personal .. everything is OK IMHO but the stickers are real "please key my paintwork" type advertising ... like it or not there is lots of D'Heads out there ...

Fairly sure Julians was the 1.6L. They both have the same standard body kit.

The kit and Exhaust were options at some or all citroen dealers..... Yes that is a factory body kit (well most of it is I think).

thats my old car... when i sold it it was minus the stickers, and had the stereo in it.

1.6L VTR. the bodykit has one tailpie cut out, which dealers use. to have the extra pipe... i had to put that through.

I also think that the stickers are a bit much. Other than that, it's a nice looking car.

IIRC, the 1.6l engine was only there to provide enough power to run the alternator to power the ICE and associated toys in the car. How the car moves is a mystery to me

Perhaps it was the sound from the big subs in the back gave the car motion.

Default So you liked the stickers huh!

    So here are some more:
May be you would like to know that the stickers are the genuine
article from CITROEN SPORT as worn by the rallye winning XSARA, and Fed Exed direct from France. Bet you DIDN'T know that.
    Anyway thanks for the replies.

Awesome pickup/find, but the bonnet one (and sides/bumpers) is TOO much for my liking. Rear window and roof i could live with. What am I talking about I don't have to live with sh!t ... you have to live with it and if you can, that's 110% OK with me.

In the left hand image, there is a small sticker which says:
"Enhanced by Harding European", this is one of the stickers from Julian. The large Chevron on the roof and the smaller red square Chevron on the rear window are separate and were sent to me directly from Citroen Sport via Fed Ex, actually I couldn't believe how diligent they were.
If you like on Bastille Day in Brisbane you can directly view and check them....mate.

The Chevrons should be the way they are now, not upside down as I see some Aussies believing they should be!
