    Default DEESSE goes to Sydney

Today I drove my DS23 from Melbourne (Frankston) to Sydney (St Ives). A beautiful day for it weather wise and a fantastic drive, got out of the car in St Ives feeling as fresh as when I started. The music was throbbing and sounded wonderful via my Retrosound Model 2 especially as I've recently sound and heat proofed the entire cabin with Ezy Cool. The best part was the fuel consumption, 8.65 litres per 100 Kms from go to whoa. Must be the shiny new paint.

Excellent! Must have been a fantastic trip.. And the fuel economy is fantastic- not a whole lot behind a modern equivalent!

Have a great time for the duration of your stay!

I've got all the fun again on Sunday. Just a quick trip this time.

Good to hear Dave. A trip like that for a big Citroen is a walk in the park, and the Hume Hwy these days is a doodle. Did you skirt the city round to the west fwy?
I look forward to seeing the new paint job.
    cheers Tony

Travel safely, wet Sundays would not be my ideal day to drive in Sydney. Madness subsides after the Federal Highway turnoff.
